The role
We install flooring across Metro Vancouver and we're looking for reliable part-time helpers to support our installers on site. No flooring experience required. You learn on the job.
What you'll do
- Load, unload and carry material
- Tear-out and demo of old flooring
- Floor prep and cleanup
- Keep the site tidy and help your installer with whatever the job needs
What we expect
- Your installer is your lead on site. You take direction from them, and you don't tell other staff what to do.
- No phone use during work hours. Emergencies only, and check with your installer first.
- Show up on time, every time.
- This is physical work: lifting, kneeling and being on your feet.
Pay and schedule
- $19 per hour, paid weekly
- Part-time. Shifts vary week to week.
- Job sites change week to week across Metro Vancouver. A driver's licence and your own car are strongly preferred so you can get to the site.
You will be asked to show a piece of government ID in person before your first shift. You must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
