Glue-down, floating, or nail-down depending on your subfloor, with tight seams and proper expansion at the walls.

Living areas, bedrooms, hallways and stairs in homes with stable indoor humidity. For basements and very humid or below-grade spaces we usually recommend engineered hardwood, which is more stable in our coastal climate.

Solid or engineered hardwood?
Solid is all wood and refinishable many times. Engineered is more stable for humidity and below-grade rooms. We help you choose at the quote.
Can hardwood go in a basement?
Solid hardwood is not recommended below grade. We suggest engineered hardwood or vinyl plank there.
How long does it take to install?
Hardwood includes acclimatization time, so plan for a few extra days versus laminate or vinyl. We give a firm timeline in your quote.
Do you install in condos and stratas?
Yes. We meet strata acoustic and insurance requirements for condo work.
